چکیده
The present work was focused on assessing the spatial exposure variability for pedestrians road, in close proximity to a car equipped with 5G-V2X antenna, operating at working frequency of 3.5 GHz and 3D beamforming capability. Indeed, Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Systems (C-ITS) will soon utilize 5G New-Radio (NR) wireless communication overcome limitations current V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) technologies, enhancing road-safety driving efficiency. However, this transition also introduces heterogeneity, uncertainty radio (RF) levels pedestrian other road-users. To evaluate these new scenarios, we adopted an approach which combines stochastic (metamodeling) technique called Polynomial Chaos Kriging deterministic dosimetry (classical computation techniques). By utilizing approach, were able assess levels, expressed terms specific absorption rate (SAR), 1000 different patterns low computational cost. results showed values compared ICNIRP guidelines highlighted high vehicular scenarios.

متن کاملRF EMF Exposure Compliance of mmWave Array Antennas for 5G User Equipment Application
In the millimeter-wave bands towards 5G, human exposure to radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic field (EMF) is evaluated in terms of free space power density, rather than specific absorption rate. Maximum power density emitted by 5G user equipment should not exceed the power density limits set by relevant regulatory guidelines. In this paper, we provide upper bounds of maximum power density of ...
متن کاملDevelopment of an RF-EMF Exposure Surrogate for Epidemiologic Research
Exposure assessment is a crucial part in studying potential effects of RF-EMF. Using data from the HERMES study on adolescents, we developed an integrative exposure surrogate combining near-field and far-field RF-EMF exposure in a single brain and whole-body exposure measure. Contributions from far-field sources were modelled by propagation modelling and multivariable regression modelling using...
متن کاملExposure Knowledge and Risk Perception of RF EMF
The presented study is part of the EU-Project Low EMF Exposure Future Networks (LEXNET), which deals among other things with the issue of whether a reduction of the radiofrequency (RF) electro-magnetic fields (EMF) exposure will result in more acceptance of wireless communication networks in the public sphere. We assume that the effects of any reduction of EMF exposure will depend on the subjec...
